War Skeeta
(Taco) was bred by Gary and Christine McPhee in Victoria and was brought
to New Zealand by Steve Graf as a two year old and they lead a largely nomadic life
loosely based at Waihi. In approximately 1992 Taco was finally registered with the
New Zealand Quarter Horse Association and we aquired him by lease to stand at stud in
1993. We purchased him in 1994 and he died February 2002, having left a legacy of quality
foals, with some fillies kept by the stud to be bred now to Quarter Lena.
